Clothing
Think of your child's comfort. Children should wear washable play clothes and appropriate play shoes. Please leave one change of clothes at school for occasional accidents.
Procedures for Storing Personal Belongings of Children
Each child enrolled at Playtime is assigned a cubby for storing personal belongings brought to school. Parents are requested to properly mark (first and last name) on all personal items brought to Playtime.
Rest Periods

All full-day children are required to have a rest period daily. Nap times are from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Parents are required to furnish one or two small blankets. Blankets go home each Friday to be laundered.
Sick Policy
Playtime can only accept well children. We request the full cooperation of parents in order to protect the health of those children attending the center. If your child exhibits any of the following symptoms, they should be excluded from school, or you will be called to pick up your child.
- Fever of 100 degrees or more
- Greenish or yellowish discharge from the nose
- Deep and persistent cough
- Two loose bowel movements
- Vomiting
- Greenish discharge from the eyes
- Unusual skin eruptions or rash
- Persistent ear aches/pulling on ears
- Head lice
- Cause is undetermined, but the child is fussy, cranky, lethargic, or just not themselves
Children may return to the center when cleared by a physician, have been on a prescription medication for at least 24 hours, or there is an absence of any fever or other symptoms for at least 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or other prescription drugs. In the event that your child is diagnosed as having a contagious illness, you are required to notify the center so that we may alert other families to a possible outbreak.
